The mission of NMI is:

  • To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization.
     

  • To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs.
     

  • To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the missions of the church.
     

  • To raise funds for mission outreach

 

Crossroads Church of the Nazarene specifically focuses on missions the second Wednesday evening of the month. It's and exciting time of singing praises to the Lord, praying for our missionaries around the world, hearing different Mission Education Leaders present a mission lesson, get up-to-date information on the monthly emphasis of NMI, Come join us at our next NMI service!

 

Each month of the year has a specific Mission Emphasis. 
 

·        Emphases Each Month (Ongoing) – Prayer and Fasting, Membership


 

          January – Volunteer Opportunities

·        February – Alabaster

  March – Easter Offering (World Evangelism Fund, Faith Promise)

·        April – Mission Education

·        May – Medical Plan

·        June – World Mission Broadcast

·        July – International Ministry, Bible Schools & Seminaries

·       August– LINKS (Loving Interested Nazarenes Knowing & Sharing)

·        September – Alabaster

·        October – Mission Priority One

·        November – Thanksgiving Offering (World Evangelism Fund, Faith Promise)

·        December – Nazarene Compassionate Ministries

 


Crossroads Church Community Outreach

  • Salvation Army Bell Ringing - volunteer to man the Red Kettle for and entire day. This is the first Saturday in December
     

  • MDOT Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup Program - quarterly clean a one mile section of Hwy. 57, south of Interstate 10
