Why not call or drop by the church and take time to thank them. They will appreciate knowing just how much we love them and recognize what and effort they have put forth to aid their brothers and sisters.

2 Corinthians 9:10

For God is the one who gives seed to the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way he will give you many opportunities to do good, and he will produce a great harvest of generosity in you.

Nazarene Disaster Response

About NDR ...

Nazarene Disaster Response (NDR) is a national network of disaster volunteers—assisted by trained district, regional and national leaders—who cooperate with other national, state, and local agencies (i.e., American Red Cross, FEMA, NVOAD, and EOCs) to respond to victims of natural and human-made disaster. NDR is a member of the National Volunteer Agencies Active in Disaster (NVOAD) and partners with the American Red Cross (ARC).

Mississippi CDR Working For Us

NDR in Mississippi is now Crossroads Disaster Response

It's been a year since we met Katrina head on! CDR has unselfishly given of their time, energy and materials to help others in time of need. They have come from all over including Washington and Canada. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their help, for without them we would not be at the stage of recovery we are at now. They have slept on air mattresses on the floor of our gym, and in trailers, when not out in our community working to get our people through this trying time and back to a normal life. Thanks again CDR we couldn't have done it without you. God has blessed us through your efforts. You truly are a witness to His love.

On a personal note, my ninety one year old father had four feet of water in his home. We made it a goal to get him back in it by his ninety second birthday. The response teams gutted, dried out, insulated, sheetrocked, and roofed his house. I was able to finish the rest and on June, 27th he turned ninety two and on that day moved back into his home. We couldn't have come close to our goal if not for the heroes of the response teams. Thank you so much. Dave Spence, webmaster.
