Just as it is not good to eat too much honey, it is not good for people to think about all the honors they deserve.

"Sewing Love, Comfort, and Hope…"

Peggy Sturgill started the PRAYER SHAWL Ministry about 18 months ago when the Lord placed in her heart the desire to use her talents to crochet shawls (for women) and lapghans (for men) in their time of need—whether physical or spiritual.  These shawls are prayed over as they are being made and then specific prayers continue for the person who receives it.   Along with Ruth Cahill, Peggy has distributed over 125 to date!

Peggy’s PILLOWCASE Ministry began about 1 year ago. These pillowcases are for cancer patients who have lost their hair.  Because a regular cotton case pulls their hair when it starts to come back in, the special fabric used is very soothing. These are given to the hospital to distribute.

Peggy’s latest outreach, the PREMMIE Ministry began when she learned of the need premature babies have for baby blankets and hats.  Brenda Visser distributes these to her patients in the NICU.  Brenda says the parents are so amazed and grateful that someone cares for their newborn.

If you would like to participate in any of these ministries, please contact Peggy.  You will be blessed for being a blessing to others!
